Lesly Federici, a graduate of Rutgers University, received her nursing license 1995 and worked as a labor and delivery nurse.
In 1998 Ms. Federici was diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Pseudo Xanthoma Elasticum (PXE) which caused partial loss of her eyesight. As a result she was unable to practice clinically as an RN. That same year she started her new and current career as a Childbirth Educator.
Lesly created U Smile Services to encompass a variety of programs to assist individuals in living healthier and happier lives. Through the years her interest in the mind/body connections in relationship to birth, stress, pain, and illness, inspired her to receive certifications in hypnosis, Wellness Coaching, and Reiki. She is also an artist and author of “The Quick What To Do During Labor Guide”.
Her current projects include being the Executive Producer and host of U Smile Radio, an internet platform where Lesly shares the lives and passions of others to inspire listeners. She created SmartBirth ™ , a new vision and focus for expectant mothers in preparing for birth. As the “Green RN”, she teaches new parents and others how to create a healthier home for better health and wellness. She also designed “Go Baby Green” class for parents and caregivers, the first of its kind to be offered in a hospital in New Jersey. She also offers a range of products for healthy living and peace of mind.
Ms. Federici lives in New Jersey with her family. She can be contacted at info@usmileservices.com
